| I have a area totally ingulfed in ekoa plants(not the mountain ekoa)
whats the best herbicide to use to eradicate this pest? (pest to me) also is this a introduced species or native?

| Lucena, often in Hawaii called hale koa, can be eradicated by chopping off and later spraying the regrowth with glyphosphate (roundup). It may take a few sprayings, but eventually the trees will die. I also understand that cutting off below ground leve will kill the trees. |
