| Excellent article. Thank you very much. I gave up on growing most fruits and vegetables affected by fruit fly years ago, because I refuse to use chemical pesticides. I use neem oil on my cacao trees to control chinese rose beetle. Neem oil will not harm beneficial insects. In India neem has a lot of benefits of its own. Maybe there is hope yet for tomatoes, etc. even whole papayas. Thanks for letting us know. I will check into it. Phil |
