I have been checking many Hawaii weather forecasts, and most places are being soaked in heavy rains. A dam also broke, so I just wanted to see how you guys in the tropical Pacific are coming through the storms. Hopefully your gardens are survivng as well!

RE: How Are All You Doing in the Rain?

Here in Puna We lost a few shrubs (brugmansia and a few others snapped off) and tree limbs, but thanks to living on A'a -Crumbley, porous, well drained lava, no major flooding around us, even though we've been getting 6+ inches a day. Roof leaks and mold growing up the walls is a bigger problem in weather like this. Today we got a reprieve- partly sunny, first day of spring! But more monsoon type rain is forecast.
