| Hello, I am looking for hellstrip gardens in Hawaii for possible inclusion in a book on the subject. In case this term is unfamiliar, hellstrip gardens are the piece of land between sidewalk and street. They also called parking strip gardens, curbside gardens, and tree lawns.
I just learned that our photographer is heading over next week and I'd love to take advantage of his trip to shoot gardens and plants for the book. I'm also checking with the Lyon Arboretum and the Garden Club of Honolulu for suggestions. If you know of other organizations that might help me, please let me know. TIA! |
