Two questions:1) why would the lilikoi fruit fall off the vine while still green?
2) is it okay to pick the fruit while still green to ripen atroom temperature?
1) the stem or fruit might have been damaged by bugs or critters. Cut it open and see.
2) I recently was given a bunch of green lilikoi someone cut off the vine. They are slowly turning color, and I expect they'll be edible.
follow-up: the counter-ripened lilikoi are fine.
