It looks like maypop, a kind of passionfruit vine, a weed.

Thanks. The only pictures I could find online of a maypop has smooth pods, though. Also, these leaves are lanceolate, and in the pictures they were lobed like fig. Here's a closeup of the pods:

You're right, up close, that is definately not maypop. Not sure what it is.
