RE: fuzzy heliconia source?

There is a woman at the Makuu farmers market near Makuu drive between Pahoa and Keaau who sells a wide variety of heliconia. You could go or you could give me more info on the fuzzy heliconia (so I know what you mean by "fuzzy heliconia) and I could ask her next Sunday.

Fuzzy heliconia=orthotricha. I have seen it for sale (cheap) a few times in the past year at various community fairs-Maui landscape fair, haiku flower festival, etc. I'm sure they have such events on the Big Island. Usually labeled 'Eden Pink' but there are others.
