Hawaiian seedling tucks leaves every night. need ID Please

I brought back a seed that very much resembled a dark kidney bean in shape and color- from a Hawaiian seed pod on Maui. It sprouted, and is now 4-5 inched tall. It has several green clumps of leaves on "telescoping arms." It is several inches wide during the day, and folds its leaves in 1" tight every evening. Any ideas on what it is?
Thanks,
Kerry

Without seeing the plant, my guess is Monkeypod or Albizia. Both are in the mimosa family, leaves fold at night. Both are beautiful. Monkeypod is a popular landscaping tree in Hawaii, Albizia a giant invasive monster.
