Help ... neighbors invasive plants!!!

I live in the country side of windward Oahu, high rainfall. My neighbor does not take care of their yard perhaps because he rents???...I spend most of time trying to make sure that zero of the invasive plants come into my yard. I do spray the fence line. There is a Chinese vine that is extremely invasive...and hangs from their trees and power lines...killing out everything in their yard. Like I said almost all the trees and vines are extremely hard to kill and extremely invasive.....does anyone have any ideas of what to do?

Try contacting the Dept of Agriculture - your local county office might be able to assist you with this. If it's overruning your property, it's probably going elsewhere too. They pack a stronger whollup than you and may force him to clean up his site.

Hi,

Roundup works better than anything else I have used on windward plants. It is nonselective (kills all it touches) so be careful. You can get at Home Depot or nearly any garden store.

Roundup doesn't completely kill certain vines such as maile pilau.
