Can you ship heliconia out of state (HI)? I've only shipped cut flowers, and I'm never sure what the USDA will allow.

I don't know, I thought you were local and there wouldn't be any need for shipping or agriculture requirements, and I really don't have the time to do the research or packing and inspections, so I guess I am now backing out of this offer.

Gordon, I (steiconi) asked about the USDA, not Pam, who asked for plants. Looks like her hardiness zone is 7, so I don't think she's in Hawaii, but could be wrong (that's happened).

Which island are you on? That steep, dry hill in the background of your picture makes me think Oahu, but it probably could be any island.
