| aloha,
my husband and i are going home later this year to do some work on his parents' yard and we need some help since we don't have any gardening experience. i was wondering if anyone could suggest the best type of grass to plant on the ewa side of the island? shady spots are few and far between and it gets really hot out out there so i think we need bermuda grass but i'm not sure.
we're focusing primarily on tilling the yard and planting grass seed since the area is so large. recommendations on where to rent equipment and tips on the most helpful & reasonably priced nurseries to pick up plants, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
mahalo nui loa :-)

| The grass that I have used in the past and has worked the best for me is called Centipede grass. I likes heat and when it grows it crawls along the gound and spreads out. When it hits a wall it stops. A place to get cheap plants and good tool rentals is in kapolei, its a home depot. I hope that helps. Good Luck. B |
