This is my first try at getting information on the internet.
I bought my wife, what were listed as, two Hawian Pikake plants. Supposed to be beautiful and fragrant, so I thought I was doing something nice for her. However, she has been unable to nourish them. One had died and the other is just hanging in there with little noticeable growth since purchase.
Since the few blooms she got were very fragrant, I am sure she would like to see this survive.
Do any of you have any advice or knowledge of what it would take to help this plant along?
I've never grown pikake, but I've seen it growing a lot in very sunny areas that get little rain. So my guess is that it should be grown in fast draining medium and watered only when it is dry or nearly so.
