Looking for Dwarf variety coconuts

I enjoy growing coconut palms and live in Michigan. I grow them outdoors in the summer and move them in come fall. I currently have two, one was shipped to me from Hawaii back in April and the second I just picked up at a local nursery this past weekend. Both are "tall" varieties and seemed to have come from the same company in Hilo. Does anyone know the name of a company that may be able to ship me a "dwarf" variety coconut. They are smaller than talls and don't grow quite as fast. I believe the nuts come in diffirent colours yellow and green are the most common. They are also grown in Florida but their trees have been decimated by hurricanes and currently don't have any nuts on them. I would appreciate any leads on a company that would sell me one of these types of coconuts.

thank you,
Andy

You're looking for a Dwarf Yellow Malaysian Coconut.

The link below will get you to a place in Puerto Rico that grows them and ships to Michigan. Bryan will probably send you one when your weather warms up.

Here is a link that might be useful: Dwarf Yellow Malaysian Coconut
