| Probably the one you're thinking of is Foster Garden, on Vineyard Blvd. near downtown. There's also Lyon Arboretum back up in Manoa valley behind the University of Hawaii. Both are worth visiting. Lyon is much bigger, and not as "cultivated"-- more natural vegetation, and a gorgeous setting. Lyon's website is at http://www.lyonarboretum.com You can get to either one by bus (you have to walk about a quarter of a mile to Lyon). I'm not sure the number of the bus lines, but if you called the gardens they could tell you. |
