| Aloha - I recently returned from a 2 week visit to Maui and saw this flower (looks like some sort of spider lily) growing all around the Hyatt Regency Maui. I would like to try and find out exactly what it is (and color) and how I could purchase one. I have had luck growing tropicals here in NY (Taro, Hibiscus, Plumeria, Passion Flower).

| Crinum is the genus, maybe amabilis is the species |

| SummerbreezeNY, yes, it is a Crinum - Spider Lily. FYI,I grew one in Seattle, indoors, and it put on beautiful foliage but never bloomed...not enough light hours in the winter and it got its little clock all confused. I reckon that in a greenhouse you could push the envelope. |
