I've got my hands on 2 plants that are simply labelled "Nu'I" and another "'Uki 'Uki"

Can anyone correlate each to a botanical name?

THanks!

Na'u or nu'i? I'm not familiar with either of those names, but it sure sounds like 2 different things. I know what niu is, though-- coconut.

Does your plant look like G. brighamii?

The 'uki grass is right.

I was going by memory of the label when I originally posted and I screwed up the vowels. I was trying to remember by word association and I goofed; it is indeed a gardenia.
