We have the driveway from he!!, the top 100 feet is very steep with a curve and it is a steep dropoff on both sides . We have to clear the driveway if we get more than half-an-inch of snow. I actually enjoy shoveling it (especially at night when I can hear the owls and coyotees) but I'm not getting any younger so I need to think about the future. We both love living here and want to stay until we are ready to retire.

So we are considering a heated driveway, not the whole driveway but just the top 100 feet. I've not had much success finding anyone locally that knows much about them so I thought I would ask here, hoping to get some advice.
