Hello

just found this forum, didn't even know it was here!
I wanted to say Hello.
I sure would love to see some pictures of your homes/properties/lifestyles.
It helps bring it all to life.
Homesteading is only a dream for now but living simply and frugally has always been a passion.

Kimmie

Wow, this place is slow!
Helloooo,
anybody home?

RE: Hello

Kimmie, the homestead group is not a fast mover, but, when they do talk, every one listens. Maybe the "farm life" group might be more to your liking. They do have pictures as well as a pretty active forum, and they have topics that might move along more.

Don't give up! I am a reader, but occasionally respond to something I know on the forum. All of the people seem really sincere and have great advice.

Hang in there.

RE: Hello

Welcome Kimmie!

Glad to have you aboard. Speaking for myself, I generally only get to check the forums about once a week. The rest of the time is spent trying to keep the homestead afloat. Let's see, which emergency needs my attention today? See?

I'm sure you aren't being ignored. Look at the sread of dates on some of the other posts. It can take awhile for people to respond.

RE: Hello

I try to check at least once per day.
Hardly ever post anything in this forum.
I do post to the other forums some.

RE: Hello

Hi everyone.
Well, it might be slow but maybe I'll learn a few things on here.
Hi Poohbear, I didn't know you came here.

I loved your pictures.
Your property and surroundings are beautiful!

RE: Hello

I never thought I would move from the place I grew up.
Then this place came available and I made a snap decision.
I don't regret it one bit. I love living here.
Having the river was what really sold me on the property.
Get to swim in it, fish in it, boat down it. Lots of fun.
Now I can't imagine living anywhere else.

You are so lucky. What else could you want?
