Mid-work week stop at the homestead

I had to go to my company's rural test site today. This is only 8 miles from my mini-farm/homestead. I just had to stop buy for the first time this year. Beautiful. sunny freash air out of the city.

The well has water back in it after drying out this summer. The tractor is fairing the winter well. The drive is not washing out as I feared with the melting snow and the rain of the last few weeks.

Now I am back in the bowels of the corporate beast. Four off-white/grey walls no windows, 4 foot floressent light. and my computer...........

Give your chickens an extra hanful of feed for me. Thanks.

Jeff

Hey Jeff...You're not alone! I was just listening to Jim Croce's song..."New York's Not My Home...da da da I gotta get out of here..." I really need to be grounded in agriculture amidst the city here and my small farm animals are essential to my sanity. Sometimes one needs a trip to a cornfield/barn/rural spot just to remind us of the better things in life beyond our doorstep :)
