chicken pallet fence/

Could someone share easy ideas on how to connect wooden pallets together to make a chicken pen and fence for chickens? I am not good with woodworking. I have a hammer and this is about it.

| nail 2x4's to the top and bottome of the pallets so the 2x4 joins the sections together. |
