 o
fowl and hemlock

I am making plans to get a couple chickens and a couple of ducks. I was planning to make a small chicken tractor for the garden and the backyard, but I have a small infestation of poison hemlock here and there. Will the birds know to not eat it, or do I need to be super careful to pull it up before moving them into an area? What about seeds that might drop . . are they poisonous, too?

RE: fowl and hemlock

Chickens will eat anything and everything.

From what I've read it is toxic and can cause birth defects.
