Goat and Chicken Supplies

I've been looking all over the net to find a place that sells both goat and chicken supplies. I'd like to save on shipping. I’m looking for a hobble and anti peck stuff. If you don’t know goats do not need anti peck and chickens do not need to be hobbled. That is an interesting idea hobbling a rooster to keep him off the hens? I can usually find one but not the other. Does anyone have experience with online supply stores or hobbling roosters?

Hi

You might try Valley Vet Supply. They are mail order, they also have a web site.

Can I ask why you need to hobble your goat?
Hobbles can also be made quite easily. We use cat collars to hobble one foreleg, and the opposite rear leg and run a piece of rope or chain between the D rings. This will allow the goat to move freely but not jump the fence.
Chicken peck stuff can usually be found at a local feed store as well.

I need the hobble for when we milk her. As far as the anti-peck stuff the local feed stores don't have it. Most stores don't know what it is. I have tried pine tar, but they are getting use to it and will peck on other hens anyway. I also have a couple hens that dislike it so much that they peck at it to get it off causing more damage than when I put it on. I am open to any suggestions thanks for yours.
