Hello,

I picked a new-to-me cast iron skillet at the the thrift store today, I have not stripped it yet, but I cannot find any identifying marks on other than an "L" on the underside of the handle and on the bottom of the skillet where it says, "11 3/4 INCH SKILLET", and then right under that, "MADE IN USA". I am just curious really. I bought it cause it has such a slick interior--it is going to have to be stripped down because the seasoning has been damaged and rubbed off in places (like the bottom of the pan), hence being able to see how nice and smooth it is down to the metal. Anyway, just wondering if anyone had any clue about it.
