| I am exploring the possibility of raising some reindeer on my farm in upstate New York. I would like to hear from anyone with any experience with these animals.

| What is your plan to do with them? I only know of them being raised for their meat? Being less tame than beef,it would be more of a challenge to humanely slaughter them? Isn't this been one of your concerns? They are also outlawed in some areas because of concern for the native deer populations health. |
