| LOL,, no one here eats peanutbutter man,,now if ya want to talk apple butter making,,LOL really this could be an interesting forum, since I had no idea it was in the works or what people consider serious homesteaders,I will have to pop in and see,,

Thanks for this new forum.
Some of us are still in the dreaming stage, some half way there, and others already there to the point they don't have internet connections.
I think the description for this forum is a little narrow, as homesteading to me means so much more in the way of self-sufficiency than just gardening. Nevertheless, I'm sure we'll all get much information from sharing with each other.

| Thanks Spike!!! now about that peanut butter..... using metal burrs in your grinder rather then stone as the stone gets clogged up. Pour your peanuts in the grain grinder and start turning the crank! all that work will help burn the calories that peanut butter is filled with! Ditto on teh apple butter! or pumpkin butter or pear butter or...... |
