| G. Well, I felt like sort of a homesteader, but with a freezer full of bison and the summer vegetables and fruits, I realize how much I do depend on using a bit of electricity. Thanks to a friend with a generator, things are OK. I guess I could use the wood stove in the summer and can everything. The weather is too damp here in Pa. to dry much. Ivan did a lot of damage in my little town, and we are sawing up a lot of wood. What is practicing homesteading? C. |
