making animal food

I am thinking about raising a few different types of animals to see if they can help me on my urban homestead planning. I am in need of ideas for easy to make chicken food, rabbit food, and fish food that are made from things I can grow myself.

RE: making animal food

See what grows good in your area,..then it comes to harvest and preserving food.

One thing that came to mind is apples, your climate is dry I would think to dry apples outdoor,..grind them up first or make juice. Grow some easy veggies like kale beans peas corn etc. then dry in the sun.

Here I dry apple pulp after juicing.
