Any homesteaders in the Catskill Mountains???

| I recently acquired a 100 acres of secluded woodlands in the Catskill Mountains in upstate New York where I'm in the early stages of building an off-the-grid homestead and wildlife sanctuary. I would like to get in contact with any homesteaders in or near the Catskill region that might be willing to share their knowledge and experience in exchange for help in any area where it may be needed.
I'm yet to find any homesteads up in these parts so I'd be very excited about meeting other individuals with similar interests and goals.

| I'd go passive solar with big thermal mass. That would take care of a large part of the heat with the need for occasional conventional heating. heating. I'm waiting to get some land myself. Your land sounds great! The amount anyway! I'll find the site. I'll get back to yah. Its awesome. |
