| I thought my prized American Highbush Cranberry was a Viburnum trilobum, but that plant is not listed, and the common name is given to another plant, under European cranberry or something like that.
I am also surprised that more people are not taking advantage of this wonderful opportnity to give a permanent record of their favorite plants, except for the Hermocallis community. THere doesn't seem to be one member's photo in the entire Acer section, except a stunning shot of an A. macrophylla, and one snippy comment about the silver pmaple's messiness. I am resolved to take some GOOD pictures of "my" trees and share them here to build "OUR" database! |

| Charles, This was in there as a synonym for: Viburnum opulus var. americanum ..but our "bible" agrees with you so I changed it to Viburnum trilobum and added that common name. But this change won't show up in the public database until next week--the reindexing takes quite awhile so I only do it about once a week. Thanks! |

| Alright Charles, I posted this Acer for you :-) Olivier. PS (to Spike) : I have a nice photo of Acer davidii, maybe you could include A. davidii in HortiPlex. Couldn' find it in 'Plants for a future' or other sites you are usually reffering to in the database. Just a thought. |
