| How to encourage member contributions of photos and comments? I mean there is such a wealth of knowledge and images available in the GW comunity, yet so much goes unuploaded.
Following a link from the new-to-gardening forum, I "discoverred" the Ms. Stewart hortiplex-style area and boy is it scary c'mon- let's add our stuff to hortiplex

Hi Charles, I've just added my photo of Rowan berries. Didn't like that marthastewart site - very slow to load, nothing like as user-friendly as gardenweb. Browsed one or two species, found an error, but couldn't find any e-mail address for comments/corrections . . . Michael

that's what I mean- boy is it scary! (that panther purr on the tellie should be a tip-off) THank you so much Michael for sharing your Rowan berries. I really like your shots of the Juniper berries and mugos in the wild as well, but as a professional you probably have your images copywrited (sp.)

Hi Charles, Actually the main reason I haven't put many pics on is time - most of my pics are a lot larger than the 60kB limit on gardenweb, so it means spending a lot of time resizing them, etc., at lower density, before they can be posted. If you want to see more of my photos, go to: http://home.infomaniak.ch/arboretum/photos.htm Michael

What a fascinating tour I've just made through your photos Michael. I wish you'll have time someday to reduce/compress them and post them on HortiPlex. I suppose you've already been asked this question but, are you thinking of writing a book (I thought I'd find your name in Didier's book list on his site, but didn't) ? Maybe you've started one already... or want to keep this project secret... Charles, sorry to have posted the link to Acer capillipes in the wrong thread ! Olivier.
