Ok, this truly looks like a BLAST! (I'm definitely not in my 20s anymore LOL!!!!).

What a fun vacation idea! I'm going to see if DH wants to check it out. If it involves food, I'm thinkin' he'll go for it!

I showed it to someone at work who was planning to take his wife to Napa in mid September. He's decided that they will go there instead!

I am considering it myself.....but that would cut into the hosta fund!

Josh and I aren't good vacation-takers. We can never figure out where we want to go or what we want to do. We come up w/ ideas....hash them out and then go.."nah". lol I think ultimately we are RV people. We want to take "home" w/ us and go where we want to go but leave when we want to leave.

Another thing that is good is to find an event like this and even though it's one day, it's something to plan around. We'll see if we make it or not! hehe

We've actually taken one vacation in 5 years. We went hiking down the Grand Canyon and back up. It was awesome!!!

It does sound like fun. There's also an Avacado festival near Santa Barbara in the summer. Its a street fair and free (or was the time I went) They have HUGE vats of guacamole in the middle of the street and even avacado ice cream.
