I've been walking on a similar leaf that I made just of Quickrete about six years ago. It's Sum and Substance, and cost considerably less than that!!

Don't think I'd ever shell out that kind of dough. I do think his paint job is nicer than on any of the other leaf sculptures I've seen.

Teresa, I picked up a couple of pieces off ebay back in 2004. This first one is Northern Exposure....it's meant to be a birdbath, and is about a foot tall. It's going into my newly made mini-bed come spring. The other piece is a Francis Williams oil lamp. Yes, it does work. I put it out in the gazebo. The artist put 3 coats of outdoor use glaze on them, but they still come inside for the winter!

Oh those are really neat "Rox"!!! I especially love the look of the second pic, the oil lamp?
I keep thinking I will make some "tufa" leaves, someday--hopefully, I actually will!

Phyllis: what was the tufa mix that you used for your S&S? I really want to try that. Did you use color chips for the mix? How long did it take to set up?
I bought the plastic bins last summer, but that's as far as I got.
