What does this mean...does anyone have a dream book?

The Dream...Janice invited me to her home to see her seedlings. I was surprise she lived only an hour from my house because I thought she lived in another part of the country. She took me into the garage and it was wall to wall seedling. She was growing seedlings on this brown fabric that looked like those seedling starter discs sold at Home Depot. In the fabric was a 1" round cutout every 3 inches with a hosta seedling hanging out of it. The roots just hung in the back like a hydroponic (is that the correct word?) plant. The seedlings and fabric were stretched across the whole floor, all walls and the ceiling. A giant light was suspended on wires in the center of the room. When I questioned the unusual fabric, Janice said Ken recommended it because it worked like the paper towels used to start seeds that was mentioned on the forum! I was granted permission to walk across the seedlings on the floor to inspect this amazing sight more closely.

She then took me out back to see the results of last yearÃ¢ÂÂs seedlings (mind you when I arrived nothing was growing in the yard). We walked out back and I saw a lot of Whiskey Barrels. On a hill I saw rows of single division streaked hosta - "Last yearÃ¢ÂÂs seedlings." Janice said. These one-year hosta were popping out of the same magic seedling fabric that was in the garage. Mind you, nothing else was growing in the yard. She told me Ken said it was time to remove the fabric. One multi division, fast grower, had skunk cabbage (this may be a NE plant??)growing with it. In the dream, we tried to cut it out and each time we removed a huge chunk of skunk cabbage, there was more to be removed. After four attempts to remove the skunk cabbage, I woke up laughing.

LOL, Robyn! I think your dream reflects the notion the I may have "hosta on the brain"!
I wish I could have seedlings like you dreamed! I keep thinking I may try doing a few
as an experiment but till we get the remaining bedroom rennovated, I just won't have a
"safe" place away from my two big cats to try!

That is so funny!! Now, the "lots of whiskey barrels" part is true enough!! Wish I could start
some seeds in those!

Here's hoping you have "sweeter dreams" next time!LOL

BTW, was I sporting my new "do" in that dream??? Big grin!!!

What a funny dream,I love the story!

Here's my (very goofy) theory:

Your subconscious mind saw the ad for sleep aids and dreams that sometimes runs at the top of the hosta forum and somehow combined them to give you the silly dream about the hosta forum. The weed? Well, weeds are so invasive that they're obviously invading peoples dreams now!

Now, if you believe that theory, it makes you wonder what would happen to us if they were advertising laxatives at the top of the hosta forum? A new form of hosta propogation? LOL (I can't believe I just typed that but I'm feeling a little silly today - hopefully I didn't just give anyone nightmares with that last thought, if so, I'll apologize in advance)

Janice, I'm glad my dream gave you a good laugh...it was very real down to the dirt texture of the magic seedling fabric. Just before I went to bed that evening, I did spend at least 15 minutes checking out my tiny one leafed seedlings. I'm a little disappointed that they don't look as flashy (streaked) as the pics Ken's been showing off....soooo....combined this with the Hosta Chia Head (which was great by the way)...and Andrea's request to see real faces....and that may explain the dream...however a dream interpreter would analyze the symbols...

And there is no question that the ads are invasive and could have an influence too...subliminal...

I guess my husbands nightly statement when I'm on the computer after dinner says it all, "Are you hostaing again?"
