THANK YOU so much for the birthday wishes!! Yesterday was a great day... I got to spend a few hours outside (in the heat!) "playing" with the hostas, which was awesome... potted up some "give-away" divisions of hostas that are duplicates (I love to enable others!!) Then we went out to dinner at Fleming's, a fantastic new-ish prime steakhouse in the area. The food was fantastic, I was stuffed to the brim! They provided a huge helping of freshly-baked peach cobbler a la mode as my birthday dessert, and I shared it with hubby :-) Then we went to see Pirates of the Caribbean 3, too fun!

Hubby got me a gift certificate to a spa for a pedicure (I can't WAIT to go!), and hubby's parents sent me some $$ to get a new hosta, so Janice, you ARE psychic and I will be making a trip to Meadow View or Knollwood's, sometime soon!

You all will probably laugh at this, but I had a bit of a "milestone" birthday yesterday... I turned 30 years old :-) I was a bit depressed to not be in my 20's anymore, but isn't 30 the new 20??

And I guess this is as good a thread as any to spill the beans on what Janice alluded to... I am 6 months pregnant with my first baby, a little girl, due on October 4th. My goal was to have my first child by the time I turned 30, and I *almost* made it!

Happy Belated Birthday to you Buff! and Congratulations on the impending arrival!!! Great timing - the hostas should be going to bed just about the same time as your attention will be totally diverted elsewhere!

Yep 30 is the new 20 and 50 is the new 30.....lol
