One of the 'nuggets' I appreciated is from Barclay's commentary you quoted regarding the term 'mystery'
as used in Mark 4:

"This word, 'mystery'. has in Greek a technical meaning: it does not mean something which is complicated
and mysterious in our sense of the term. It means something which is quite unintelligible to the person
who has not been initiated into its meaning, but is perfectly plain to the person who has been so initiated."

I think that is a very good explanation and fits in with 1 Corinthians 2:14-15!

Janice - thanks. I throw in some Christian commentary on the blog every once in a while. I wonder how those hosta that have vole damage will ultimately do. Seems to me that they have a lot of root development left to do in they are going to be survivors over the long haul. But they are doing well right now and I am using this damage as a learning tool.
