Beautiful flowers, mctavish! Also, a great idea for showing off some splashes of color from the garden.

Here are a few favorite Irises from my mother's garden, names unknown to me...

I love iris. They remind me of my grandma's garden. It was totally bordered by iris and peonies and was so lovely and fragrant in the spring! Good memories.

All of the above Iris are so beautiful! I love Iris and it was my grandfather's favorite flower, so I always think of him when Iris are in bloom. I grow quite a few, but have not kept track of their names. However I do have a lovely pink called Beverly Sills.
