Andrea has been busy trying to launch a community center for the homeless people in the Indianapolis area. It will offer a variety of services for them including transition services to help some of them get jobs and homes and hopefully get off the street. There will also be AA meetings and mental health counseling. This is a huge project and has been taking up all of her time. She found a large property in the city and needs to raise a half a million $$ to get the ball rolling.

I have a mentally ill brother who was homeless for a dozen or so years. And while he has a job and home now, the Andreas of the world will always be near and dear to my heart. Thanks everyone! I had a great day! :) I have definitely been singly focused w/ this project, ken - I haven't been even *thinking* about hostas. I know, I know...check my temp. hehe

My homeless outreach partner, Victor, just had to have major surgery also so that means I'm twice as busy plus trying to keep an eye on his care!

All in all...it's good. It's going to be a great year! :)
