Do a lot of you also find yourself taking a quick browse through the 'just the facts' forum and then moving on to this one for the conversation?

Maybe I'm off line here, but personally I enjoy the banter, sometimes not so good, but still find it more interesting in the long run.

I have said before, gardening, regardless of what kind of gardening you do is not a by the book thing, it is a personal thing, a artist thing, a what works for each thing. We just can't keep to facts, facts don't work in nature, nature throws her own curve balls at us.

So I would rather read the post that are not totally by the book factual because I learn more from them.

Plus I also find it too totally interesting to learn the various personalities that grow this diverse plant. It's diverity alone brings people of many personalities together.

Well put, Chocolateis. "By the book" is not much fun.
I noticed this morning, when logging in, that I went immediately to the conversations section first.

Ditto! Things do have a way of working out.

I have to wonder if those who wanted to stay OT all the time, are enjoying the new 'no nonsense' format. If nothing else, they don't have to worry about spending so much time 'wading through' all the posts to get to the meat.

Now all they have to worry about is , "Where's the beef?" :-)
