Thanks Diann, We just took electric out there, you can see the remnants of a dirt trench along the older brick work. Its filled with lots of lights and workbenches!! Can't wait to spend time out there. Long term plan is to buy a kiln and start doing more pottery. Sigh, pottery and hostas, doesn't get any better than that.

Oh Phil its so sad (snicker!!). There was a large peony planted where the pile of dirt is...my sister moved it to save it. That my friend frees up the whole bed to hostas!! I'm already planning on putting Manhattan in there, I've got that one squirreled away in a holding spot.

I'm also going to create a curve along the front of the walk to the left of the pic to soften the walk...that will hold even more hostas. Its a wonderful thing to have room for one more!

Donna--I love brick sidewalks and patio's etc. too! I'd love to have one up to our front door
and throughout the back yard!!! Heck with "yellow brick roads"--I love the red ones!!

Looks so neat already--way to go!!!

And thank you, yes it is a very informative photo. I'll have to post another as soon as my nephew gets the rest of the landscape ties in and I get the bed prepped. I don't have many Saturdays to play, may have to take a day off.
