| Here are a couple more shots of the beautiful fall we've been having. One was taken in the afternoon with the sun shining. The pictures on the right were the next morning with fog. This is the road that I claim as my driveway.
THIS IS ABOUT HALF WAY DOWN THE ROAD LOOKING OUT AT THE VIEW

| I was thinking the same thing, Phil, about where my folks lived in Murphy, N.C.!! I especially love the view of the water and mountains you can see, McT!!!! My folks had a stream with rapids that ran through their place, about 40 ft. janice |

| Yes,McT,the lake in the pic reminds me of Lake Lure,over near Asheville,NC,but there are lakes around here,and streams. Our mountains are not as high as the Canadian rockies,but the highest point east of the Mississippi,is in Tennessee at Clingmans Dome,just over the NC border,at over 6,000 ft. I'm at about 2100 ft. here at my house,but Highlands,NC,which is southeast of here is 4118 ft. Phil |
