I know you have your hosta bedded down, but do you have a tarp over them already?
As of yesterday,i moved all mine to the bin, layed them on their sides, and tomorrow, i will go get the Toms, they are all still looking really nice, should i tarp them any way?
Thank you Denny, you have helped me a lot,I will send you your LLams in the spring.

cAROL,
I don't usually tarp them until all of the foliage is gone.I don't turn them on their sides either. This might be part of your rodent dilemma.I put the bait in the bins the same day that I tarp them this keeps it fresh and dry all winter long. The main thing abut tarping is to get the stakes in the ground before it freezes. Any old Llama will do as long as it is white with brown spots and answers to the name of "KILLER"!

Well, i have all mine laying on their sides already, but not covered, hubby has been working 7-12;s
So much to do myself, I thought i would save myself one steep, now i am thinking it may not have been a good idea,
Getting Tom;s today though,i will definitely, put some down right now,and again under the tarps.
Thanks Denny, are you saying Llamas do not like Any dog?

cAROL,
I really don't know..The show showed it attacking a cyote and said that they have a natural hatred for them. Google said they can be used for guarding sheep and can cut out almost 100% of loss due to dogs and Cyotes. Sooo,I guess they will whup up on either if they threaten sheep. This means I must get a sheep costume made to fit me before you ride the Lama down here so I guess we best wait until spring because I tend to fatten up a little in the Winter!
You might want to take the Lama out a little more each day so you won't get saddle sore on the long ride to Effingham!

Denny
