After reading the post about throw rugs and finding out my sonKen had helped out someone before me it brought to mind the saying I used for my post.

Yes, It's true!A son is a son 'till he takes a wife. When sonKen married his lovely wife he forgot all about dear old graying monConnie!!

Out of sight, out of mind!!!!

How sad that is for me to have to tell the world about it.

If it weren't for this forum I would never have made contact with him!

My dear son # 2 loves his mommy so much he brought the new wife home & then the " new additions " arrived.. his MIL & SIL !! I always wanted a big family but getting them at age 14 & 50 was a big surprize ! Full house of " fun " to say the least here...:)~Dot

Connie--that's just mean! I'm so gullible, (sometimes) and I was really feeling badly for you!!!

Now--being gullible still--is ken really your biological son? I know--it's sad, but I take folks
at their word unless given reason to do otherwise! :o)

So what's the real deal with our dear ken and you?

Janice, My dear I hope I have not caused you any unknown stress!!!

I have adopted Ken as my on line son. He, on the other hand, has relucantly acknowledged me and is putting up with me!

As you know sonKen sometimes needs to be reminded to relax and not be so serious and all knowing in his remarks to others. I have taken on that responsibility to lighten him up. Not all of us who frequent this forum are as knowledgeable as Ken and he intemidates newbies at times. It's my job as his Mom to pull him back to the real world where we common hosta people live. LOL

How well I'm succeeding is still up for grabs!!!
