WANTED: Advice/Seeds

I have been trading for hosta seeds so,I would like some advice on starting them. Can I winter sow them in zone 5? How big or how many leaves can I expect the first year? Will they bloom the first year? Sorry my first attempt at hosta's oh! I am Looking for these seeds. I Found a nice website

"Kabitan" Hosta

"White Christmas" Hosta

"Brim Cup" Hosta

HI personally i have had 0 luck with hosta seeds but my friend beth her hostas re seed them selves so i do believe winter sow would be ok we are both zone 5 happy gardening GOD BLESS

Sorry, no seeds to offer here (I never collected any this yer), but I can say....Yes, you can winter sow hosta seeds. The plants will be relatively small the first year, and number of leaves will vary based on the growth rate. Unlikely that they will be of blooming size the first year. Hope this helps!
