| Common ones to share with a friend might be Halcyon (#1) and Gold Standard (#3). No guess on #2. |

| #2 may be fortuni aureo marginata |

I go along with the first two as #1 Halcyn and #3 Gold Standard. But #2 could be Francee. |

I'm thinking the first to be 'Fortunei Hyacinthina', and I agree with Linda on the second one, and Gloria with the third--'Gold Standard'! But, they all are more seasoned *hosta-sperts* than me, so perhaps 'Halcyon' is the correct guess! All very nice to have in your garden, btw! And, I love your 'page' pics! You're doing such a gorgeous job of putting your gardens together! :o) |

| Thank you so very much, loisf, lindac, hostared, hey_j & hostaformez4, for responding and for your kind words on my garden. It's has overgrown and grown a bit shadier. I am replacing a lot of fuzzy stuffs with Hostas. A friend who has hundreds of different hostas just invited another friend and me to go "shopping" in her garden in fall. LOL We are rubbing our hands with glee and want to know how much and how far she'll be willing to part with. I do have a Halcyon and two Frances Williams. They do not look like #1 or #2, so I 'll go with others on these two. I thought #3 could be 'Gold Standard' too. Thanks much again. I have babies that are growing near my 'Elegans', plantaginea and 'Sum and Substances'. Any chance they'll resemble 'Elegans'? The bigger ones do look like 'Elegans', don't they?
Thanks again. |
