This is a very nice one with those waves and even streaking. Mine are coming along, but not that far yet as yours.
Today even in NY state we had colder that -20 windchill and schools will open 2 hrs late.

According to Accu-weather, it's -3 F here at the moment. I'm wearing multiple layers sitting next to the heat register with my hands wrapped around an insulated mug of hot cocoa. So I'll second your Brrrrrrrr.

We were -36 C last night with the windchill. That is about -23 F including the windchill. Brrrrrr is right.

Well, I certainly can't match you guys on cold temps, but it's cold here, too (for north Texas).

Solid colored seedlings are fun to grow to.....especially when you know the cross and see traits from both parents show up. This is a 'Blue Dogwood' x 'Harry van de Laar' seedling that is starting to get wavy and the blue is coming on from 'Blue Dogwood' plus the petioles are starting to get red from 'Harry van de Laar'.......lots of fun for wintertime gardening in Iowa

It was 14 f about 3 nights ago, no insulation in New construction, heat pump not able to give heat, 60 amps power total to house.Froze my buns, I did. Now insulation in felt like putting on wooly mammoth fur as it was wrapped around the new space. Thank heaven it was a temporary inconvenience and soon remedied. Power service going live mid morning Monday.
