 o
how to make sure your monitor has true color ...

come summer.. snap some pix .... and then snip a green leaf.. a blue one.. and a variegated or two ...

upload the pix.. and then place the leaf next to the monitor.. and adjust your monitor ... until they match ...

this is done.. most likely.. with the buttons on the monitor.. rather than thru the computer itself ... but it wouldnt surprise me if you cant do it both ways ....

and you might want to deal with contrast also ....

perhaps one of the 'puter sperts can clarify such ....

it also helps you understand how to use you camera better .... you will be able to see how different ambient lighting in the garden messes with the ultimate picture ...

RE: how to make sure your monitor has true color ...

I am satisfied with the colors my cheap Kodak camera produces. That is when looking at photos taken in shade or semi-shade. Photos in glaring sun light are not good anyway. Those colors match what I saw outside. It also matches the colors of my computer monitor background which is a photo Hosta Hillbilly showed here in this forum last year (or 2010?).

HH, how are you doing?
Bernd
