The Ones That Start With M...

Millie's Memoirs a hosta with good substance and corrugation. It appears to be sporting back to Aspen Gold. I divided this one after I took the pic and replanted the two hostas separately.

Feel free to share your M hostas here

I had several Millie Memoirs...nearly all of them sported/reverted to all gold, with only a few still variegated...which means I'm probably going to replace it with something else. :(

That's disappointing to hear Don. I was hoping this was just a fluke as I really do like this hosta. My MM is about three years or so in my garden, I guess I'll have to keep a better eye on the remaining MM part this year.

Here's my Millie's Memoires prior to a tree removal project. It started reverting last year and I attributed the change to more sun or the trauma experienced when a 12 foot log fell on it.

    Maui Buttercups

Moon Lily (do the leaves have enought of the dusty wax color)

Manyhosta...love the many flowers on your montana macrophylla. Will add it to my wish list!

Moonlight Sonata, early in the season, while it still has its wax. I actually like it better when it loses the wax, and the thick leaves look rubbery. The fragrant flowers are delightful, too.

    Monashee Blue Cup

The tag that came with this Canadian cultivar said it should be thought of as a smaller version of 'Abiqua Drinking Gourd'. Well, while it is a good grower, and fertile, after 3 years I have yet to see the degree of cupping that would warrant that statement. Hints of cupping, perhaps. You be the judge......

Gotta get me one of those 'Montana macrophylla' that is growing dollars in the leaf.

Mr Big, which keeps getting bigger.

:-) I think it's a very desirable leaf mutation, for those of us who would spend our last dollar on hostas.

Hey tsbccowboy, how many years did it take for that
Mr. Big to get to the size it is in that picture
you posted? This year will be year 3 for mine and it
certainly isn't breaking any growth speed records.
