Hope this one looks like the pictures on the Library some day.

Early in the season before a hail storm ripped some of the leaves

The next two were new late in the season last year

One of my favorites, love the three color combo

I was a little dissapointed in the size of this one when I got it early last year but it put up a lot of new growth and I am looking for ward to seeing it this year.

Can't wait to see this one grow

This one has been a slow grower but hopefully will get going this year.

Lovely Lakesides. My question is does Lakeside April Snow ever fill in? I like the color but mine was in it's 5th year last summer and was still very open.

sshoop1 Good Luck on the Lk. Black Satin. I've had mine for 9 years. For the first several years it was in heavy shade because I'd read that that would help it to be darker. Finally I dug it up and found a hard knot in the center with three sets (of 2) eyes. It's now in three pieces in three different places. The largest and best looks like your plant.

    Here are a few Lakesides:

7th year - not exactly speedy

I have only three pictures of the few Lakesides I have, the others I never took pictures of last year for some reason, maybe because they were new. Anyway, here are mine:

    Lakeside Black Satin

    Lakeside Kaleidoscope

    Lakeside Old Smokey

I will have to show my young Lakeside Kaleidoscope what it's SUPPOSED TO look like when it grows up. McTavish your photography is as good as your plants are awesome. Unbeatable combo.
