Fifth year. Mine is obviously not growing very fast. I like it anyway. Also fifth year but now looking like what it's suppose to. Second year. A division from Pieter on a hosta trade. I really like it. My favorite hosta flower on a favorite hosta. This plant is grown in sun from about noon on. Is sure is different from those in the shade. One of my very first hostas from 1993. It's been moved several times. At first it was because I didn't like it. I thought all hostas should look like a fortunei. I learned to appreciate the differences eventually.

Myrle, Great photos as usual. What is the edge variegated Hosta right above Hacksaw? I really like the leaf form on that one. Steve

Steve, that is June Moon. It's lived in several places in my garden. If you get the right light it gets very bright yellow/green and corrugated. Last year we had such a weird summer it never got bright. I'm thinking of moving it once again to more sun. My hostas should be on roller skates.

McTavish says: "My hostas should be on roller skates." Not a bad idea, ladybug. I have a lot of big terracotta and poly containers which might be the best solution to planting my collection for their first year. Exploring a suitable habitat by moving pots will be less strenuous on the root systems and on me. And add some wheels for the move? good idea.
