Hosta W 2013

1. A cowboy rode to an inn on Friday stayed two nights and left on Friday. How could that be?

2. A guy bet his neighbor $100 dollars that his dog could jump higher than a house. Thinking this not possible, the neighbor took the bet an lost. Why did he lose the bet?

3. A bus driver was heading down a street in Colorado. He went right past a stop sign without stopping, he turned left where there was a "no left turn" sign, and he went the wrong way on a one-way street. Then he went on the left side of the road past a cop car. Still - he didn't break any traffic laws. Why not?

Who want to show off your Ws:

Only Whirlwind to share. Had this one for years. Here in B.C. it doesn’t get that hot in the summer, so the change in colour is not as pronounced as some of you may experience. Slight darkening (greening) of the veins in the centre, which also appears more creamy towards the fall.
Here it is just unfurling.

You rotten enabler, mctavish. I was already lusting after War Paint, and then you showed me White Elephant and Warwick Comet. What are they like? Hard, easy, fast, slow, lots of light or mostly shade?

Yes, go USA - although I enjoy anyone who's an outstanding athlete. And with all the stuff people have posted, my list has been growing by leaps and bounds. I enjoy your riddles, they make me think sideways and out of the box.
